"FREQUENTLY" ASKED QUESTIONS: 1. Are there any reunion plans? Not at this time, no. 2. Why did you break up, dudes? You guys ruled so hard! Sorry to bum you out. We were just all too busy with our lives and families. Playing rock music for you people is hard fucking work and we don't mind telling you! 3. Can we still get your records? Sure, go to the OUR RECORDS link on the left to find out how: trust us, we have plenty of leftover records, cd's, etc. We mean PLENTY. 4. Do you have any t-shirts or other Hidden ephemera left over? As a matter of fact, we do have a few left over. Send an e-mail to daniel@medeaconnection.com if you want to inquire; eventually we'll put all of that stuff up on this site as well, once we do some kind of inventory. You don't mind a size XXXL shirt covered in three-year old beer do you? Kidding. 5. Hey, how come you never played [name of city outside of New England]? We had a number of eventually-aborted tour plans: at one point we were this close to touring Sweden. But you know, it's tough all over. If only we had ___, blah blah blah. 6. Why did you name the band "The Hidden" and/or are you named after the 1987 movie The Hidden starring Kyle MacLaghlin? Good question! We brainstormed for a really long time to come up with a name: it's hard to remember some of the names that were bandied about, although one rejected name was "Wormwood". At one point Tanya suggested "The Hidden ___", like The Hidden Fortress, the 1958 Akira Kurosawa film that Star Wars is supposedly partly based on. At the time, of course, we were blissfully unaware of the larger international indie bands The Hidden Hand and The Hidden Camera. Kevin suggested "The Hidden" since it was a term that had childhood significance, referring to things that him and his friends surreptitiously hid in the woods for later subversive use. As in "Where did you hide 'the hidden'?" And it just clicked and sounded cool.
